The hotel offers delicious and super breakfast with excellent local coffee and the cookies, for example. The staff are highly trained and professional, and the host too. The property has an unbeatable and comfy location, short walk to restaurants and the outlet stores, decided to stay at the Brewster House in Freeport, and restaurants in Freeport. There is Coffee by Design nearby for a cup of coffee.

During our wonderful stay, we loved being just a few steps from the beautiful L.L. Bean Store Discovery Park and Hedgehog Mountain Trail, so easy to stroll through nature before returning to our super clean and comfortable Portland House Suite for a cozy evening.

Kelleigh and Dave's hospitality turns every moment into a joy, especially with Dave's very nice 3-course breakfast with smoked fish. The historic charm of the home adds to a cozy atmosphere. Although the twin-bed room was a bit small, the oversized bathroom was a surprising bonus. The location makes it easy to explore nearby boutiques and restaurants, perfect for a family getaway.

Charming Stay with Great Breakfast

The attentive innkeepers provided excellent suggestions for our coastal adventure. Breakfast was superb. I especially loved the vegetable frittata and the fresh coffee. Everything was fantastic, but I wish there were more activities available for newer visitors.
